I tried all kinds of peels and potions, but nothing improved my skin health and energy quite improving my diet and lifestyle. And yes, there ARE great skincare products out there (I’m a safer skincare advocate after all), but topical products are NOT the end-all-be-all solution to skin healing.

What is the 21-Day Sugar Detox (21DSD)?

The 21-Day Sugar Detox (21DSD) is a real food based program created by Diane Sanfilippo, certified Nutrition Consultant and bestselling author of Practical Paleo.

Over the course of 5 weeks (including pre/post detox weeks) you’ll learn how to:

Curb sugar cravings naturally by swapping refined foods and sugars for nutrient-dense meals so that you can reset your palate for skin-healthy foods.

Regulate blood sugar levels and improve energy all through changing your food for a few weeks. Some individuals also lose weight on the 21DSD, though weight loss is not the focus of this program.

Reduce inflammation in your body and start healing your skin from within. Excess sugars, processed foods, and common food allergens create a low-level state of inflammation in the body. This stress depletes nutrient stores over time and causes everything from acne and digestive issues, to poor energy and moods, and chronic diseases.

Incorporate new, healthy habits! You’ll become your own nutrition label detective and dig into food mindset so you can make positive, long-term lifestyle changes after the program.

There are no B.S. shakes or supplements, and never any calorie counting or weigh-ins. (I am NOT a fan of deprivation or traditional “dieting”).
